How do I turn a voice note into an invoice?
Tap record and talk about the job — who it was for, what you did, what you used. TalkPaid transcribes it and drafts an invoice with the client, line items, and prices filled in. Review, adjust anything, and send.
Does TalkPaid work offline?
Yes. TalkPaid is offline-first: recording, on-device transcription, jobs, clients, and invoices all work without a connection. Online transcription and AI Pro features need a connection when you use them.
How do I get paid through an invoice?
Connect Stripe, Square, PayPal, or QuickBooks in the Payment Providers screen to add payment links to your invoices. Peer-to-peer options (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Cash) generate links or QR codes right on your device.
How do subscriptions, billing, and refunds work?
AI Pro is billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where is my data stored? How do I delete it?
Your jobs, transcripts, invoices, clients, and settings live on your device — we don't have access to them. Deleting the app deletes this data. Details in our Privacy Policy.
The app isn't picking up my voice or transcription looks wrong
Check that TalkPaid has microphone permission (Settings > TalkPaid > Microphone) and try recording in a quieter spot with the phone closer to you. If a transcript comes out wrong, you can edit any field on the invoice before sending. Still off? Email us with what you said and what came out.
How do I import my clients?
TalkPaid can import clients from your Contacts — you choose which ones, and they stay on your device. You can also organize clients into groups from the Clients screen.
